Air Turbine power ratings are in HP and kW, not feeble Watts, and will save hours on your machining programs because Air Turbine speeds stay high under load. Now, our patent pending auto changer assembly loads Air Turbine Spindles™ for full integration into the program. All you need is a dry air line connected to a mounting block and the spindle is allowed to rotate (or orientate) while in machine taper. The main spindle holds Air Turbine Spindles™ and advances without rotating. Mounting Blocks are available for Haas, Hurco, Mazak, Fadal, etc. With a Universal Block you drill the screw holes to fit virtually any CNC. The spindle manifold connects with the mounting block to induce airflow. Mill aluminum, tool steel, brass, ceramics, alloys, graphite or wood with 5-micron accuracy, which can be upgraded to 2 micron accuracy with our optional UP collet. Patented double turbines available with extra power for hard materials and/or greater material removal. CAT, DIN, BT, HSK, etc. available. With only 2 moving parts (the powerful turbine and bearings), Air Turbine Spindles™ do not heat up and burn out like some vane and electric spindles. |
